Canon Call

The English Club has incorporated the literary canon into its semesterly readings! The thinking behind this is to get students to read books that “they should have read” or will need to be familiar with when they begin their careers after graduating (i.e. teaching). These books may or may not be as challenging as the challenge book – it’s up to those participating to delve as deeply as they want into the meanings and concepts within each Canon Call selection.
